A few days ago, I took the little guy to some of our favorite toy stores around the area to start on our christmas shopping and to find little toys to hide in his backpack for our trip next week. Shopping for kids stuff has become my biggest obsession. It's just as much fun (if not more fun) for me as it is for S. I step into a toy store and my eyes start to wander in all directions. It's really hard for me not to find something I want to buy each time we go.

Our little guy is starting to really enjoying taking pictures. As in, HE takes the pictures. He let's us take his pictures most of the time (but sometimes it depends on his mood). But he runs around in the mornings with his dad's broken camera and says "cheese!" to all of us. I'm pretty sure he can't see through the little hole, actually I'm pretty sure it's not even open, but he has a blast nonetheless!

As the little guy's birthday approaches, I've been considering so many different gifts. Don't you just want to give your kid EVERYTHING? One of the biggest considerations is a train set. Toy preferences must be somewhat genetic or hormonal because for some reason most little boys are drawn to things that go or things with wheels. They wake up one day and they roll their little cars around and make car noises! I love the wooden train sets, but I wanted to make sure I was introduced to all my options before making a decision.
