Rooms of The Famous

There are a handful of bloggers that I follow religiously. All of them have different strengths and all of them so very inspiring. While I was reading through my feed today, I realized that all of a sudden, almost all of my favorite bloggers are now mommies and these blogger mommies have added their little ones to their blog life. And at some point or another, they've all blogged about their kid's bedrooms. Like I said before, kid's rooms are the most fun to decorate! I have loved seeing their room reveals, so I wanted to share them with you.

Paint The Walls Rainbow

Everyone who knows me knows I love colors and I'm not afraid to use them. Being a mama to a fun little boy just gives me more room and opportunity to play with colors. I have loved playing interior designer to S's rooms. His last room was painted a bright orange and now that he's a bigger little boy, I went with a blue-ish gray and a super fun wallpaper in his new room (I'll share his room with you when it's completely finished). I think parents should let their inner child(s) shine through their little ones. Don't be afraid to play with color when decorating.

I was introduced to BlaBla's unique and whimsical stuffed toys a few years ago, and am excited that they've added their most recent collection "Petit Home" that offers sweet and comfortable pieces for a little one's bedroom. From traveling play pads to colorful bean bags.

Confetti Stickers

With my current love for all-things-dotty, these colorful confetti wall stickers definitely caught my attention. They would look fun in a kid's room or nursery (especially above the crib). The fun thing about them is that you can place them however you please - scattered or uniform in all 15 colors.

Enjoy your weekend! We're excited because S's dada is returning from his business trip tomorrow!

Styled by Lara Hutton, this simple yet sophisticated nursery contains adorable wooden details throughout the room. I especially love the wooden artwork on the walls and the wooden cloud bookcases. Here are the details:

-‘Fawn’ figure, from Shelf/Life.

- ‘Babushka’ canvas, from Little Envelope.

I'm a big fan of wallpapers even though we don't have any wall-paper-covered walls in our house - yet! But they're such a great way to change the mood in a room or dress up a room. These wallpapers by Muffin & Mani are fun, vibrant and colorful, perfect for kid's rooms. Available at Baby's Got Style.

This would've been so much when my sister and I were little! The walls provide privacy which is nice, but I love the portholes between each sleeping space.

Every Little Girl's Dream Room

A sweet little room with white walls and soft white curtains, little pops of your favorite colors red and pink, a little play table with your favorite tea set and your favorite stuffed animals as your tea-party guests, a miniature kitchen, a cozy bed on the other side of the room for you to rest after you get tired from playing all day - that, is a little girl's dream room, and it doesn't get sweeter than this room on Bolig Pluss!

Our Pick: Big Boy Bed

I was on a long hunt for the perfect big boy bed for our little man. He moved out of his crib very early on due to traveling, so he was sleeping on a twin mattress for months until we decided it was time he got a bed frame. The transition worked out really well because he got used to being on a twin mattress, so once the bed arrived, the elevation didn't phase him and he hasn't fallen off.

"Sliding" Off The Bed

Our little dude loves slides these days! He slides over and over and can keep going all day long if we let him, so having a slide like this in the bedroom would be a dream (for any child really!).
