It's been a fun year welcoming a bunch of new babies into the world. Sometimes, we feel like we're surrounded by babies because a lot of our friends gave birth last year (especially at the end of the year), and some are expecting new babies this year. With little babies comes a lot of... you guessed it, drooling and spit ups. Not the greatest thing when a friend is holding your baby and their shoulders get spit marks, or worse, (breast) milk residue, but I bet parents find it kind of cute (maybe? hehe).

I know most people don't buy baby shoes for their newborn babies, but these are so cute I had to share! I mean look at the fishy ones!!

I've always seen Bensimon shoes around. They look cute and comfortable, but I've never tried them. And you know I love it when a product has so many colors to choose from! Mommies always need comfortable walking shoes, but best of all, they make kids shoes too! Have you tried Bensimon shoes before? If so, I'd love to hear some feedback before making the plunge :)

After the little guy turned two, I noticed a shortage in clothing options for his age group. There are far less options and the ones that are available aren't great. I spent hours on the web trying to find new t-shirts for this spring/summer and truly didn't find anything I loved. Inspired by all the DIY projects on the web now-a-days, I decided to take on the project of making our own t-shirts. It's the first time I work with fabric ink, and I was really nervous at first. I thought to myself "If I make a mistake, that's a brand new shirt wasted!".

It feels like I'm looking for new clothes every time a new season comes along. They just grow so fast! But I'm not complaining because it's one of the fun things about being a mama. I love dressing up the little guy, and I think it's ok to splurge a little even though they can usually wear something for only a couple of months.
