Wall decals are such a fun way to decorate, and these days the options are limitless. I recently came across these Muppet wall decals on Blik and got so excited! They make ones that look like they're peeking out from a wall and ones that can cover the entire area of a wall. Who doesn't love The Muppets? So fun!!

Summer Tanks

It feels like I'm looking for new clothes every time a new season comes along. They just grow so fast! But I'm not complaining because it's one of the fun things about being a mama. I love dressing up the little guy, and I think it's ok to splurge a little even though they can usually wear something for only a couple of months.

Hope you're all having a Valentines day filled with lots and lots of love! The little guy and I just spent the last hour trying to find his daddy's car at work so we can put all this Valentine stuff on his car for him to find later. Craziest Valentine so far hahaha but we knew it would be worth it once daddy found his gifts!

Around-The-Town Birthday Party

We got to go to two birthday parties this past weekend. I'm surrounded by wonderfully talented friends who plan the best parties for their children, we had a blast! I helped a good friend come up with her 2 year old's party layout, and she implemented the idea so well it exceeded my expectations! Instead of having the usual focal table against a wall, we wanted to do something a little different. The idea was to create a road-map in a town full of stores and to make food/dishes that pertained to each store or landmark.

DIY Cardboard Toys

I really want to build our little guy a cardboard grocery store. He's really into pretend play these days and it's so fun to play with him. We have pretend money and pretend food, and we pretend we're ordering things in a restaurant. All he's missing is the store itself, so I'm on a mission! You can literally build anything using cardboard boxes, and I wanted to share with you some fun things I found on the web to maybe inspire you to keep the cardboard boxes you don't need. Instead of throwing them away, re-use them to create something fun and entertaining for your little ones.

Bringing Kids Drawings To Life

The word "cute" is used excessively here, I know, but I can't help it. This idea is not only cute though, it's magical, it's brilliant and it's one of the best gifts you can give a child. Child's Own Studio celebrates a child's imagination and artistic talents by bringing their drawings to life in the form of soft toys. A child's drawing expresses their thoughts and emotions and I can only imagine how special it would be for them to see their own creations come to life!
