We Heart TOMS

Yes we do, we love our TOMS! And unlike adult TOMS that can sometimes look like kung-fu shoes (which is fine 'cause I own a pair of grey ones and I love how comfortable and convenient they are!), tiny TOMS look cute and they're definitely comfortable! The new styles are so adorable with fun no colors and styles. We feel the need to order a pair (or two)! Here are our favorites this season:

Simply Adorable

I've always believed that simple designs done right are the most beautiful. These cakes made by Hello Naomi portray that message loud and clear. Her cake designs are clean and modern, simple and under-stated yet very very sweet. I'm sad that she's in Australia or I would so love for her to design our next birthday cake. I love the soft colors she uses and she's obviously an expert at magically transforming fondant to whatever she desires.

For little truck and train enthusiasts, these are simple books with big colorful illustrations and fun sounds. It teaches children what sounds/noises each kind of train/truck makes. Our little guy LOVES these books!

Bike Seats

The hubby really wants to bike ride with the little guy, so I've been looking for a toddler bike seat. It's such a hard decision because of all the options out there. There are front seats and back seats and different weight limitations. The front seats seem safer but most can only last until the child is 3 years old and can get in the way of riding. The back seats last longer, but then one can't keep an eye on their kids. These are our top choices right now, and from them we need select one! Have you tried any bike seats? Which woudl you recommend?

Scratch & Sniff

One of the funnest things about childhood are scratch and sniff stickers. I used to love them! The little guy and I found these at the car wash a little while ago. They're super cheap and they come in a full roll. They came in really handy when we were out in restaurants when he needed some entertainment. The illustrations are cute with a touch of vintage and they come in flavors like bubblegum, pizza, chocolate, grape, strawberry and banana.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Lucky are these kids whose mama makes them the sweetest and cutest clothes. I've told you before, I can't sew if my life depended on it so I'm a big admirer of those who can. I can't imagine the countless projects one would be able to take on if they had the skill of sewing. I just discovered this mama's blog today and I'm so blown away by the clothes she makes for her little ones. They're so original and fun.

If someone can custom sew a doll that looked like your little one would you get one? Um.. DUH! These personalized dolls by The Citizens Collectible are just so cute. Pick the hairstyle, skin color, hair color and fabrics you want, and ta-da, you have yourself a one-of-kind toy. I heart the ones with glasses!

ChitterChatter: Choosing Baby Names

One of the most exciting things about expecting a baby is the process of picking a name. It's something I LOVE thinking about and discussing (my hubby will tell you how much I think about it). It's a big responsibility! You want to make sure you pick something unique enough that will give a good impression when they're little and when they're grown up. You don't want to pick a name that a ton of other people have already used because who wants to be Aiden # 5 in a class of 6 Aidens? These days, parents have made it their mission to pick out unique names (e.g. Atticus).
